Awaken Your Passion Hand crafted Ceramic mugs are made using the ‘Slip-Cast’ method. Slip Casting provides superior consistency, which was of extra importance as our mugs are stackable.
It also allowed for the logo to be part of the body of the mug. The logo won’t fade or wear off with use. In the unglazed version - the clay is very tactile with a distinct hand feel and it will ‘wear in’ over time like a nice pair of leather shoes — but the logo will remain distinct.
‘Ceramic,’ in this instance refers to the firing process. Fired at 2265 degrees Fahrenheit, the mugs achieve a water absorption rate of less than 1%, making them microwave and dishwasher safe.
